I know I'm not related to this guy, wasn't a close friend of his, but for some reason felt compelled to post this. As a movie geek, I've always admired Stan Winston, who passed away Sunday. He's the man behind some of the biggest movie monsters (and aliens and creatures) in recent history. He made the T-rex in Jurassic Park, the aliens in Aliens, the Terminator, and more recently Iron Man. Pretty cool stuff.
